When a young woman's father dies and wills her his house, she travels there despite her mother's objections. Her father always said that he would leave behind a special gift, but she sees only a creaky, derelict dwelling with exposed pipes, books and drawings of pipe organs. The sole clue to her gift is a note that reads, "When it snows, turn on furnace 2."
